Arsenal are top of the Premier League thanks to the goalscoring ability they are displaying. Two of the men who are standing out the most are Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli, both 21 years old. Between them, they already have more than 20 goals in the domestic competition.
A milestone already achieved by the historic duo of Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney in the 2006-07 season under Alex Ferguson at the same age. In total, the Gunners duo have scored 28 goals in domestic competition between them.
The Brazilian scored 15 and the Englishman 13. As well as joining the Portuguese and Englishman, both Arsenal strikers are just three goals short of the Manchester United legends' tally of 31 goals for the season.
The Emirates side are five points clear at the top after their 3-3 draw with Southampton. The negative side for Mikel Arteta's team is that their pursuers, Manchester City, have two games in hand and depend on themselves to be champions.
