Manchester United managed to strengthen their squad last summer before the start of the 2024/2025 season, and two of the Red Devils' late signings were agreed at the same time and both came from the same team.
Noussair Mazraoui and Matthijs de Ligt joined the Mancunian outfit for a combined £60m. Both players had been under Erik ten Hag during their time at Ajax, so they were reunited with the Dutch coach in England.
The Moroccan full-back is on cloud nine despite the fact that it has been a few weeks since his signing was made official and he has even played five games for the Red Devils, in which he has managed to provide one assist.
"I knew I would eventually want to play in the Premier League. But to be able to play for this big club, Man United… it’s only a dream that I could never dream of. It was not something I had already in my mind but, like I said, it’s every step," said Mazraoui.
