Barcelona coach Hansi Flick said on Saturday that his players understood they had to "give everything from the first minute" after their 7-0 win over Valladolid in the La Liga matchday four fixture.
"How the team played from the beginning was fantastic, it's what we have to do. When the referee whistles, you have to go one hundred per cent. We created good chances, we pressed a lot... it was a great match," he told reporters.
"For me, there is only the team, we are happy that the team is doing so well. When I go to lunch or dinner and I see people are kind to us, they help us, they support us, they give us energy.
"There is a great atmosphere and a great mentality, everyone gives good energy to the team and that makes us stronger. We are like a family. When you see how supportive the fans are, they could also see something special, that hunger to go for the next goal, the intensity... that did not go down after 80 minutes," the German continued.
"That is what makes the fans proud of us. We are here to give our best as individuals and as a team. It's only the fourth game, I know that can change quickly. It's good that the fans are happy, but our job is to continue because this is very long. We want to try to be better in every game."
