The two Milanese giants could face off over Alvaro Morata. AC Milan have turned their attention to him after losing out on Marcus Thuram, and Inter see him as an alternative to Romelu Lukaku, who Chelsea won't sell for less than €40 million.

Alvaro Morata appears to be a new target for the two Milanese giants, AC Milan and Inter Milan. Both teams are eyeing a move to bring the Spaniard over but for different reasons.
The 'Rossoneri' faced rejection by Marcus Thuram this week, as the French international decided he would move from Monchengladbach to Inter this summer. They have decided therefore to turn their focus to Morata, who has experience in Italy, having spent four seasons with Juventus.
Inter also have plans for the Spaniard, and his future with the 'Nerazurri' is linked to that of Romelu Lukaku. Inter Milan are still very interested in signing the Belgian striker on a permanent deal, but Chelsea will not sell him for less than €40 million.
And should Lukaku stay in London, Inter have the Atletico Madrid striker as Plan B on their list, according to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport'. Following the departure of Edin Dzeko to Fenerbahce, the Champions League runners-up need to recruit a striker. And if it's not Lukaku, it could be Morata, according to the outlet.
The Spanish international's release clause is just €10 million, with only one year remaining on his contract. Although Morata has been clear he wants to stay at Atletico, a transfer this summer would allow 'Los Colchoneros' to ensure that the former Juventus player does not leave the club for free next summer.
