Milan announced on Tuesday that they have terminated the contract of Senegalese defender Fode Ballo-Touré by mutual agreement with the 28-year-old full-back.
"Milan announce that they have terminated by mutual agreement the contract of defender Fode Ballo-Toure. The club wishes the player every satisfaction for the continuation of his career," the 'Rossoneri' said in an official statement.
Ballo-Toure's last matches in a Milan shirt were with the Under-23 team in Serie C, the third tier of Italian football. Last year he was on loan at Fullham in England, where he played just six Premier League games.
The left-back arrived in Milan from Monaco in July 2021 for 5.4 million euros, but never fit in the Milan project. He only scored one goal, against Empoli in 2022.
Now, as a free agent, Monza and Le Havre are his most likely destinations. Milan, for their part, are still working on the signing of Englishman Kyle Walker from Manchester City.
