Christantus Uche told 'ESPN Africa' about his experience in La Liga and was highly critical of the referees, who he accused of being "very bad". "When I get kicked, they just tell me to get up, but if someone else gets kicked, they whistle. And you don't have any power," he said.

Getafe signed Christantus Eche from Ceuta this summer and it only took the playmaker six games as a new La Liga player to put the spotlight on the Spanish top-flight referees.
"After the first two or three games in La Liga, I saw with my own eyes how bad the referees are. They are very bad," he told 'ESPN Africa'.
For Uche, not all teams are whistled in the same way: "When I get kicked, the referee just says I have to get up. But if someone else is kicked, the referee does whistle it," he continued.
"It's so painful. You can't do anything and you don't have any power, because the referee has the power to do whatever he wants," he lashed out at the referees, whom he openly criticises for their role in matches.
Uche believes that he would not be fouled even if it was right in front of any referee: "I will fall down, they will kick me and the referee will do nothing. It's not good," he said.
