Agreement between Keylor Navas and AC Monza could collapse

Serious problems have arisen for Monza in terms of goalkeeping for the coming season. Michele di Gregorio, who was in goal last season, was loaned out with a mandatory option to buy to Juventus. His alternative, Perluigi Gollini, has already committed to Genoa from Atalanta, as they opted for Keylor Navas, who seemed to have made up his mind to make the move to Serie A... until now.
Transfer market journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that setbacks have arisen in the negotiations despite the fact that his trip to Italy and his medical had already been scheduled. It all stems from a new round of talks from which the two sides have emerged with little certainty that agreement will be reached, so it is not ruled out that the transfer window will have to be explored once again.
The availability of the Costa Rican was what had displaced his counterpart from the list of futures of the Associazione Calcio, whose sporting management has now been left with no options for their first-choice goalkeeper for the 24-25 season.
