Leo Messi's future is the only thing which is being talked about at the moment. With just over a month until he is a free agent, the Argentinian star still hasn't renewed with PSG, and everything is pointing towards an departure from Paris after the club's punishment as well as the bad relationship with the fans, who are making whistling him a regular occurrence.
The world champion travelled to Saudi Arabia without permission, provoking the Parisian side to punish him with two weeks without training or salary. Despite that, and after missing the Troyes game, the man from Rosario is on the other side of the sanction and he's now back in amongst the group.
His future is something which is talked about everyday in the press. His return to Barcelona gained strength a few days ago, but the Spanish side's financial instabilities and the possibility that La Liga may not approve their financial plan have put a stop to that dream.
Therefore, reports have come out about a possible exotic move to Saudi lands. More precisely, it was speculated that Al Hilal had agreed a deal with the number 10 for next season with a stratospheric deal of around €500 million per year.
However, the player's father and agent Jorge Messi released a statement denying this and claiming that they had nothing agreed with no club and that he's focused on ending the season and winning Ligue 1. This is something which the Middle Eastern club have also done, just not officially.
According to 'Mundo Deportivo', Al Hilal denied having an agreement with the Argentine. They did admit that they were in contact with the player's entourage to try and reach a deal, but they agreed with what the player's Dad said, making it clear that nothing had been agreed.
