The relationship between Paris Saint-Germain, specifically its directors, and Kylian Mbappe since the latter said he was not going to renew his contract has not been good. 'L'Equipe' has now brought to light a quote from Nasser Al-Khelaifi to the French star.
The Parisian club's president criticised Mbappe for leaving for a team that supports the creation of the European Super League, something PSG are totally opposed to.
"You're going to legitimise the Super League," Al-Khelaifi reportedly told Mbappe after it became known that he would not be staying and that he would be leaving for Real Madrid.
The PSG president also told him that players like Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane had left money in the club's coffers, something Mbappe will not do when he leaves at the end of his contract.
