Al-Khelaifi on Messi's contract: "We will not make a decision on his contract before 2023"

Lionel Messi will have a few days' rest when he returns from Qatar. Al-Khelaifi has an appointment with the Argentina '10' to discuss his future, as his contract expires in June 2023. The president believes Messi will stay at the French side but they have to make it official.
"We will not make a decision on Leo Messi's contract before 2023. We are very happy and he is also very happy with us," Al-Khelaifi said to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport'.
"I am sure that we will find the best solution together," he said about Messi's future.
Nevertheless, the PSG board know they cannot relax because Barcelona, Messi's former team, want to 're-sign' him and it would be great for them to do so in the summer.
