PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi was unable to attend the directors' dinner with Joan Laporta for religious reasons. According to 'Mundo Deportivo', the president apologised to the 'culés' directors.
The reason why the Qatari was unable to attend the event was because of the end of Ramadan. Al-Khelaïfi was celebrating 'Aid al Fitr', which is the end of the fasting period of Ramadan.
Barca were represented by Joan Laporta and vice-presidents Rafa Yuste, Elena Fort and Juli Guiu. Also present were the directors Josep Cubells, Xavi Puig and Miquel Camps.
The reception took place at the Onor restaurant, located near the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. The establishment has one Michelin star.
