Alphonso Davies and Johnathan David called up for Canada WC squad

The Canada national team have published their list of 26 players who will be at the country's second World Cup. Manager John Herdman is taking Alphonso Davies and Johnathan David as his flagship players.

One of the teams for which it is a revelation to be in the World Cup is Canada, who are about to kick off their second World Cup. With Alphonso Davies at the helm, the North American side now has a full squad list.
10 of Herdman's players are from the MLS. After submitting the list, injured players can be replaced up until 24 hours before Canada's first game against Belgium.
Canada will go up against Belgium, Croatia and Morocco in an interesting Group F. The main absences due to injury are goalkeeper Maxime Crepeau, and defenders Scott Kennedy and Doneil Henry.
