Belgian comedian Pablo Andres used the song used by the French to celebrate the Russia 2018 World Cup and, in a video posted on his social networks, appeared alongside Belgium midfielder Amadou Onana to change its lyrics and throw out a question that was answered by the player himself.
"Who's going to tackle Mbappe in the shin?" said the comedian. "Onana, Amadou Onana," sang the Everton player and international with the 'Red Devils'.
The images generated a huge controversy on social networks and quickly, on behalf of the Belgium national team, its press officer, Stefan Van Loock, had to come out and apologise.
The apology came ahead of a media appearance by Johan Bakayoko on Saturday, just a couple of days before they face France in the last 16 of the European Championship.
