Ancelotti asks for academy player Jesus Fortea to STAY with the first team

Nearly a month after Dani Carvajal's injury, Real Madrid are showing signs of a weakness at right-back. Lucas Vazquez will not always be reliable and removing Militao from the centre-back position will not always be possible. Given what may come, and considering that for the moment the board has no intention of signing, the coaching staff are looking in the youth academy for what they don't have.
'Marca' reports that Carlo Ancelotti has decided to incorporate Jesus Fortea permanently into the first team training sessions. The 17-year-old Valencian is a second year youth player and had been under the orders of Alvaro Arbeloa, his great supporter. Now, the former Real Madrid right-back will have to make a living after ‘losing’ his greatest talent.
Fortea has already done two sessions with the seniors and that has been enough for Ancelotti to decide that he wants to count on him. The intention is not that he will play immediately, but that he will remain training with Real Madrid on a permanent basis and will not return to play in the youth team. Carletto wants him to develop and be available for when he is needed.
The youngster's leap within the ‘Merengue’ youth academy has been big and fast. Jesus Fortea Tejedo (Albal, Valencia, 2007) arrived at Real Madrid in 2022 from the youth academy of Atletico Madrid. It was Arbeloa himself who convinced him, breaking with this move a non-aggression pact between the two clubs that had been in force for nearly 15 years. Now, both have a free hand to negotiate with their young players.
