Real Madrid are delighted with Carlo Ancelotti and are not sure if letting him leave is the best idea. That is why the Brazilian Football Confederation's operation to sign the Italian coach might not bear fruit.
The 'Canarinha' environment has even aired a pre-agreement with him but, according to 'AS', nothing has been signed because the coach himself has not wanted to. Ancelotti has been faithful to the discourse he maintained in front of the media, so his number one priority is to renew with Madrid.
Carletto has a contract with 'Los Blancos' until June 2024 and the Italian's continuity at Madrid is now closer than his departure to the Brazil national team. The board believe that the coach's work is good, his connection with the dressing room is total and he brings stability.
Madrid president Florentino Perez intends to meet with Ancelotti after the Spanish Super Cup. The Italian manager has already won six trophies in his second spell at the club: La Liga, Copa del Rey, the last Spanish Super Cup, Champions League, European Super Cup and Club World Cup.
Real Madrid will play again next Wednesday against Mallorca, will face Arandina in the Copa del Rey in Reyes and will play the first semi-final in Riyadh against Atletico. The final, if played, will be on Sunday 14.
