Ancelotti equalled record at Madrid

Carlo Ancelotti equalled Leo Beenhakker as the fourth manager to have coached Real Madrid for the most matches against Real Valladolid in a 2-0 win thanks to a brace from Karim Benzema.
Both coaches have 197 appearances. Ahead of them in this historic ranking are Vicente del Bosque (246), Zinedine Zidane (263) and Miguel Munoz (605).
Ancelotti was at Madrid for two spells: from 2013 to 2015 and from 2021 to the present. The Italian boss has achieved 145 victories, 25 draws and 27 defeats and has won eight titles with the Spanish side.
He has won two Champions Leagues, two European Super Cups, one La Liga title, one Copa del Rey, one Spanish Super Cup and one Club World Cup.
