Andreas Christensen out of Barcelona's plans, Arsenal monitor

Andreas Christensen's time at Barcelona could be over. The defender, who suffered a tendinopathy in his left achille, has been out for the past three months and is set to be on the sidelines for another two due to a delayed recovery process. Despite a scheduled return in January, Christensen could see himself contiued to be sidelined at Barca, as Matteo Mortetto reports the Dane is no longer in the club's future plans.
Christensen was considered an untouchable player under previous manager Xavi, who opted for the 28-year-old 74 time during his two year-and.a-hafl spell.
