Ansu Fati expected to leave Barcelona in January, Sevilla on the horizon

So far this season, Ansu Fati has only played 28 minutes for Barcelona. The player has no place in Flick's plans, but his confidence in him is intact.
The board is clear that the winger has potential, but he needs opportunities and playing time and at the Camp Nou he is not going to get it, at least for the moment. As a result, Barcelona have reportedly decided to loan him out in January.
Sevilla are favourites to secure his services. In the summer, the Andalusians showed interest in Ansu Fati. Spanish coach Garcia Pimienta even spoke to him. But Sevilla's proposal was not convincing and the player was left with no choice but to continue wearing the Barcelona shirt, albeit without opportunities.
A few months later, things have changed. The Catalans want Ansu Fati to spend half a season away and show what he can contribute. At Camp Nou, right now, they are not thinking of selling anyone in January, but they would be open to loaning him to Sevilla. We will see what happens in the next edition of the market.
