Anthony Taylor to referee PSG v Barca; Marco Guida to referee Atletico v Dormtund
PSG-Barcelona will be refereed on Wednesday by England's Anthony Taylor, while Atletico Madrid-Borussia Dortmund will be officiated by Italy's Marco Guida.

England's Anthony Taylor has been appointed to referee Tuesday's PSG-Barcelona Champions League quarter-final first leg, while Italy's Marco Guida will referee Atletico Madrid-Borussia Dortmund">Borussia Dortmund.
Taylor will be assisted on the sidelines by compatriots Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn, the fourth official will be Robert Jones and the VAR officials will be Stuart Attwell and David Coote.
Born in Wythenshawe 45 years ago and an international since 2013, he will referee that game for the second time, having refereed the PSG-Barcelona clash on 10th March 2021, which ended 1-1 in the second leg of the round of 16 and which saw the Spanish side eliminated.
He also refereed Barcelona at Olympiacos (0-0) and at home to Bayern Munich (0-3) before refereeing them at Do Dragao this season against Porto, a match that ended in a 1-0 win for Xavi Hernandez's side.
Meanwhile, PSG are unbeaten with Taylor in the middle, having beaten Shakhtar Donetsk (2-0), Real Madrid (3-0), Borussia Dortmund (2-0), Atalanta (1-2) and Juventus (2-1) under his refereeing.
Guida will be joined by compatriots Ciro Carbone and Giorgio Peretti as linesmen, the fourth official will be Fabio Maresca and the VAR will be operated by Paolo Valeri and Massimiliano Irrati.
Born in Pompeii 42 years ago, Guida, an international since 2014, has never refereed Atletico Madrid or Borussia Dortmund, although he was an additional assistant to Daniele Orsato when the two met in the Champions League group stage in November 2018, a 2-0 win for Spanish side.
