Taylor will be assisted on the sidelines by his compatriots Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn, the fourth official will be Slovakian Ivan Kruzliak and the VAR will also be English Stuart Attwell along with Polish Bartosz Frankowski and Italian Massimiliano Irrati.
Born in Wythenshawe on October 20, 1978 and an international since 2013, he will referee his third match in the current European Championship, after the Netherlands-France (0-0) and Ukraine-Belgium (0-0) and being the fourth official in the Spain-Croatia (3-0).
Taylor is the referee who officiated the Nations League final between Spain and France at the Giuseppe Meazza in Milan on October 10, 2021, in which the French side won 1-2 with a controversial goal by Kylian Mbappe.
