Antonio Conte has decided to end his sabbatical year and is looking for a team to return to the bench. Some reports have suggested that the Italian has chosen Napoli as his destination, although, according to Matteo Moretto, this is false, as the former Chelsea and Inter Milan boss does prioritise coaching in Serie A, but has not started talks with any club.

Antonio Conte ended his spell at Tottenham in March 2023 and decided to take a year off. However, after this waiting period, the Italian wants to return to the bench and, according to Matteo Moretto, his desire is to return to Italy.
On the other hand, some reports suggested that Conte had chosen Napoli as the destination for his return to work. The journalist assures that this is false. Moretto explains that it is true that the coach wants to return to coaching in Serie A, but that no talks have been initiated with any club.
Reports have even claimed that Napoli president De Laurentis has offered the Italian a three-year contract. Furthermore, it was claimed that Conte had beaten the likes of Stefano Pioli, Vincenzo Italiano and Gian Piero Gasperini.
Antonio Conte's next destination is not yet known with certainty, as not all the reports fit together. But what does seem certain is that the Italian coach is going to return to the bench and that he will do so in his own country, where he has already had good seasons with Juventus and Inter Milan.
