Uruguay centre-back Ronald Araujo began his recovery on Thursday from the hamstring injury in his right thigh, which he sustained during the last Copa America and for which he underwent surgery on 22nd July.
Barcelona posted a video on social media on Thursday in which the defender can be seen walking with the help of two crutches around the facilities at the Joan Gamper training complex.
The player himself posted a photograph on his personal Instagram account, accompanied by the message: "We started with the recovery. 'Cules‘, soon I will be fighting on the pitch as always".
Araujo underwent surgery last Monday in Finland by specialist Lasse Lempainen, accompanied by Barcelona doctor Ricard Pruna, on the right hamstring injury he suffered during Uruguay's Copa America quarter-final against Brazil on 6th July.
