Uruguyan Barcelona defender Ronaldo Araujo worked on specific drills in the side's last training session before the Spanish Super Cup final against Real Madrid, which will be played this Sunday in the Saudi Arabian capital, Riyadh, even though his availability is not in doubt.
Araujo did not take part in the first 15 minutes open to the press with the rest of his teammates as he was following his specific recovery plan after the amount of minutes he has played after being out for three months due to injury.
Barcelona boss Xavi does not want to take any risks with a footballer who wants to return to the right-back position to go up against Vinicius Junior. This is a plan which went well for the Barca boss last season when they thrashed Madrid 0-4 at the Bernabeu.
As for others, the two players who ended the semi-final against Betis with knocks, Frenchman Ousmane Dembele and Dutchman Frenkie De Jong trained problem-free, with their teammates.
