Arda Guler, Real Madrid's new No. 24

Each number has its own history depending on the team. In the case of Real Madrid, the names of Raul or Ronaldo, from recent history, inevitably come to mind if we mention the '7'. Many numbers with history in a club through which many great footballers have passed. The latest to land is Arda Guler, a boy of 18 who looks a few years younger. The Turkish player, another gem to be developed by the club, will take the number '24'.
Only '25' and '9' were free, but the regulations state that '25' can only be used if the rest of the numbers are already owned. Vallejo was the '24' and has decided to change to '25'. He left the '24' free to Guler and only the '9' remains vacant.
The Turk will be part of Madrid's new midfield following Jude Bellingham's arrival from Borussia Dortmund">Borussia Dortmund and will be able to learn from the experience of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos.
Guler has signed a long-term deal with Carlo Ancelotti's side and will play for six seasons at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. He will be presented as a new Madrid player on Friday.
