Arne Slot: latest to turn down Tottenham
Arne Slot will stay with Feyenoord. The coach himself confirmed he would remain with the club, thus taking him out of consideration for Tottenham's next manager.

Arne Slot has taken himself out of the running for Spurs manager and will stay with Feyenoord next season. This makes Luis Enrique, one of the main candidates for the job, look even more likely to take it next season.
Slot, who had been the favourite to take over the London team, denied rumours of a possible move this summer. "I've heard many rumours of an interest in me, and although I am flattered, my wish is to stay at Feyenoord and work on what we have built this past year. There have not been conversations about a move and the meeting was only to negotiate a contract renewal. All the conversations with the club have been along those lines. I'm really looking forward to next season with Feyenoord", he said on Thursday.
This narrows Spurs' options for them, as they've watched Mauricio Pochettino, who managed the club for 5 seasons, sign his contract with Chelsea and seen the rumours die out of Julian Nagelsmann, former Bayern coach, Roberto de Zerbi, who has brought Brighton its best season ever, and Vincent Kompany, who has renewed with Burnley until 2028.
Luis Enrique, who was also in conversation with Chelsea, is now, according to several English outlets, one of the new favourites. However the possible signing is very up in the air, as Spurs are still lacking a sporting director, after Fabio Paratici left the club, following FIFA sanctions.
Daniel Levy's dream, the big boss at Tottenham, is to sign a coach as soon as possible, in order to plan for next season with guarantees and to find someone who can convince big stars, like Harry Kane to stay with the club.
