Arsenal add more Champions League points despite recent league flop

Arsenal beat Shakhtar Donetsk 1-0 in Tuesday's league-phase Champions League match at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal were leading 1-0 at half-time deservedly as they had been the better side in the first period. Martinelli put the Gunners ahead with great skills from close range. Despite good efforts from the Ukrainians in the second half, it was the hosts who took all three points at the Emirates Stadium.
