Arsenal consider renewing Jorginho for recent performances

Jorginho, who has not enjoyed much playing time since his arrival at the Emirates Stadium in the 2022/23 winter transfer window from Chelsea, has been at his best for manager Mikel Arteta in recent matches.
The 32-year-old is usually playing as a substitute but is becoming the perfect replacement for Arsenal to bolster their midfield. In fact, he played as a starter in his side's 4-1 win over Newcastle.
As a result, both the board and the Spanish coach want to thank him for his commitment to the London club and are close to offering the Italian a new contract, according to the 'Evening Standard'.
"Everyone is happy but now is the moment to stay focused and push even more, to go with the good momentum and try to win another game," Jorginho told reporters earlier this month. We will have to wait to find out the midfielder's future.
