Arsenal crumble at Bournemouth after Saliba red card
Arsenal lost 2-0 to Bournemouth on Saturday at the Vitality Stadium. Arteta's men saw their match completely change following Saliba's red card at the 30th minute. Bournemouth weren't able to break the stalemate with the advantage until the 70th minute with Ryan Christie. Kluivert then slotted home from the spot to end the Gunners' hopes for a comeback.

It was a relatively tight match until Arsenal defender William Saliba was sent off at the 30th minute. The Frenchman was the last man for his side when he fouled striker Evanilson. Although, he was initially shown a yellow card, VAR intervention allowed referee Jones to review his decision and send off the 23-year old. Despite having the numerical advantage, Bournemouth weren't able to break the stalemate unitl the 70th minute. It was substitute Ryan Christie that gave the Cherries the lead as he striked Kluivert's low cross. The latter then sealed the match as he slotted from the spot to double his sides' lead. With the defeat, Arteta faces his first loss of the season as the Liverpool clash looms ahead.
