Arsenal demanded to sign Nigerian star Osimhen in summer

But Manchester City's 3-1 win against West Ham meant Arsenal's own 2-1 victory over Everton counted for nothing as Pep Guardiola's team finished two points clear of the second-placed Gunners.

However, the Gunners need a world-class striker to beat Manchester City, according to Arsenal legend Emmanuel Petit. "I think Arsenal need a 30-goal striker to finally win the Premier League and that man could be Victor Osimhen, who has been amazing with Lille then Napoli," he said.
"His dream is to come to England and he could be brilliant here. He’s physically so strong and is an out and out number nine, so he’d be my first choice. To compete with Man City, Arsenal need four more players, though."
He went on to add: "City can bring on five players with incredible quality and right now, Arsenal can’t, so they need to have a busy summer ahead."
