Premier League giants Arsenal have reportedly reached a pre-agreement to bring Benjamin Sesko to the Emirates Stadium in the summer. The Slovenian has accepted an offer of 45 million pounds but negotiations between the two sides are not yet closed.
Sesko, who has scored 18 goals and provided two assists in his first season in the Bundesliga, was being targeted by several clubs due to his great talent. However, the Gunners are the ones who are closest to securing his services.
Arsenal sporting director Edu has decided to set a deadline for the 21-year-old's inner circle and RB Leipzig to sign the appropriate paperwork for the forward's arrival in the Premier League. The London club will wait two weeks for the deal to be sealed.
Spanish manager Mikel Arteta believes Sesko could exploit his potential in the English top-flight and sees him as a key player in their plans to overtake Manchester City for the league title next campaign, among other objectives.
