Arsenal have been dealt a blow after months of negotiations with RB Leipzig for Benjamin Sesko, but the 21-year-old striker has finally decided not to try his luck in the Premier League.
The Slovenia international has decided to stay with the Bundesliga side after signing a new contract with improved terms, Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported.
The Gunners had been interested in signing Sesko for months, reportedly offering up to £45m, but in the end it was not enough to make the young attacker want a change of scenery.
Despite his young age, Sesko has impressed in his debut season with RB Leipzig, making 42 competitive appearances, 22 of them starts, scoring 18 goals and providing two assists.
