David Raya will remain a Gunner next season. Arsenal, according to the 'Daily Mail', have exercised their option to buy the Spanish goalkeeper, pending official confirmation.
The London club will have to pay the 31m euros - £27m - that was stipulated in the loan deal, as Raya spent last season on loan.
He won the Premier League Golden Glove for keeping 16 clean sheets in 16 games. Raya has become a strong argument for Arsenal's chances of challenging for the title again next season.
The Spanish international took the place of Aaron Ramsdale and will return as the first-choice goalkeeper for the 2023-24 season. So far, he has already played 41 games in the Gunners shirt.
Even without being official, Raya is still appearing on Arsenal's website and he is still wearing next season's kit.
