With Mikel Arteta's Mikel Arteta's side having missed out on the league title in the closing stages of the English competition, the Spanish coach's side now have two chances to make amends.

Among the clubs that could share a group with the Emirates Stadium side in the UCL 23-24, the following stand out:
- Pot 1: Bayern Munich, Benfica, Feyenoord, Barcelona, Napoli, PSG and Sevilla
- Pot 3: Red Star Belgrade, Lazio, Milan, Salzburg and Shakhtar Donetsk
- Pot 3 or 4: Celtic, Real Sociedad and the remaining teams to qualify from the Champions League qualifiers
- Pot 4: Lens, Union Berlin and the remaining teams to qualify from the Champions League qualifiers
As for the teams that cannot be in the same group with Arteta's side, two groups stand out:
