Arsenal's Smith Rowe set to join Fulham on £34m deal
Fulham are on the verge of announcing the arrival of Emile Smith Rowe. The Arsenal youth product has run out of space in Mikel Arteta's plans and will not even change city.

There is little room in Mikel Arteta's starting midfield. Thomas Partey, Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard have become the mainstay of a system that's been challenging Manchester City, so new members are unlikely to be allowed in. That is why Emile Smith Rowe is on the verge of leaving the Gunners to join Fulham. Fabrizio Romano said he has already passed his medical.
'Sky Sports' Dharmesh Shweth even posted a video on social media showing the former Huddersfield Town and Leipzig man leaving the clinic where he underwent his medical. The journalist adds that the deal will close at just over 40 million euros, an ideal way for the Emirates Stadium outfit, as their academy player was going to lose market value soon because he had two seasons left on his contract.
The future Cottager was already playing a secondary role last season, but it is in the campaign that ended in May when it has been confirmed that he is not going to play a more important role as a Gunner. He came on 19 times, four of them starts, and was particularly inactive in the second half of the season, with many weeks spent sitting on the bench.
Fulham, when they make this signing official, will be looking to boost the transfer window as they did in the summer of 2023. In that period, they snapped up Adama Traore as a free agent, Calvin Bassey for 22.5 million euros from Ajax, Raul Jimenez for 6.4 million euros from Wolves and Timothy Castagne for 13 million euros from Leicester City. These signings took the team to 13th place in the Premier League.
