Manchester United find themselves in a tricky spot over Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund after the Italian side told them they are only interested in a cash offer for the young Dane. 'The Telegraph' reports that the swap offer was quickly rejected by the Serie A team, and United's trading card, Mason Greenwood, was taken out of the equation, despite potentially moving to join Atalanta on loan.

Manchester United remain interested in Atalanta striker, Rasmus Hojlund, but may face considerable difficulties in bringing him to Old Trafford, despite reportedly turning their full attention to deal, after closing on Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana.
According to 'The Telegraph', the Red Devils recognise that they will struggle to find the cash to meet Atalanta's £86 million asking price for the Dane, and proposed a swap offer, with reports suggesting the Manchester outfit were proposing to send Mason Greenwood on loan with the Serie A side to boost their chances.
The English outlet reports that the trade offer was quickly rejected, with the Italians only interested in a cash offer. Manager Erik ten Hag is working with a tight budget, as the club's takeover saga continues, and has already spent around £100 million on two signings this summer.
The club signed Mason Mount from Chelsea, for a reported fee of £60 million, and as final details are finished off for Onana, it is believed that deal lies between £40 and £50 million. Hojlund would be an investment for the Red Devils, at just 20 years-old, but they may be unable to drum up the cash for the Danish international.
