FC Barcelona's Joao Felix spoke to 'ESPN' after the La Liga match against Atletico Madrid, the club to which he belongs. The Portuguese player sent a message to the ‘Colchoneros’ fans: "The fans don't know what happened in there; I understand them, but I shouldn't be seen as the bad guy". The midfielder scored and did not celebrate the goal against the team that has him on loan at the 'Cules'.

Joao Felix shone again against Atletico Madrid as he did a few months ago when Barcelona hosted the 'Colchoneros' at Montjuic. He scored a goal, but did not celebrate it in front of his former teammates. After the match, he spoke to 'ESPN' and made some enigmatic statements. He also sent a clear message to the 'Colchoneros' fans.
"Atletico fans don't know things that happened during the time I was there. The fans don't know what happened in there; I understand them, but I shouldn't be seen as the bad guy. Even my relationship with the Atletico players is very good," he explained.
The Portuguese went on to further stress the relationship with the 'Colchoneros' players: "What people say on the outside that I get on badly with my ex-team-mates is not true. As you could see, I stopped to talk to Lemar and Lino and they all passed by and came to hug me, to talk to me, to ask how the family is, to ask me how I was and so on. I have nothing against them and they have nothing against me".
Felix still belongs to the Madrid side. These statements, which suggest that there are things that have happened that are not known on the outside, suggest that it is difficult for the Portuguese to return to Cholo Simeone's side. We don't know who they are really aimed at, but the player has wanted to clarify that the problems he has are not with those who have been his teammates for some seasons.
