Atletico Madrid in search of Diego Simeone replacement

Despite renewing him until 2027 just last a year ago, Atletico Madrid are reportedly looking for a replacement for Diego Simeone. The Argentinian has led the 'Rojiblancos' for 13 years, but reports from the Spanish capital assure that the club are ready for a change.
According to 'Relevo', Simeone has slowly been losing power since the arrival of new Director of Football Carlos Bucero about 10 months ago. Between 2024 and 2027, Simeone's salary will amount to €100m, a figure that Atletico do not want to pay out.
