Defender Jose Maria Gimenez and striker Memphis Depay, Atletico Madrid players, were included on Saturday in Diego Simeone's squad for the match against Celta at the Civitas Metropolitano, with the absence of Nahuel Molina and Thomas Lemar due to injury.
The Uruguayan central defender is available for the coach, after the alternative training session on Friday and joining the squad again in this Saturday's session, while the Dutch attacker returns after a month of absence, which has included six matches, due to a muscle injury suffered on April 6th.
Sidelined for 19 games this season and 30 of his team's most recent 62, Memphis has played a total of 37 games since joining Atletico in January 2023, scoring 13 goals and assisting three.
While he returns to the squad, Nahuel Molina is out with a muscle injury from last Saturday's clash against Mallorca. Thomas Lemar is also out, after rupturing his Achilles tendon almost eight months ago.
Goalkeepers: Jan Oblak, Horatiu Moldovan and Antonio Gomis.
Defenders: Cwsar Azpilicueta, Jose Maria Gimenez, Stefan Savic, Axel Witsel, Mario Hermoso, Reinildo Mandava and Gabriel Paulista
Midfielders: Marcos Llorente, Pablo Barrios, Rodrigo de Paul, Koke Resurreccion, Arthur Vermeeren and Saul Niguez.
Forwards: Samuel Lino, Rodrigo Riquelme, Alvaro Morata, Memphis Depay, Angel Correa and Antoine Griezmann.
