Atletico take decision on Giuliano's future

Giuliano Simeone ended his loan spell at Alaves on 30 June. Once his loan spell was over, the player returned to Atletico, although it will not be for long. According to 'AS', the Madrid outfit have made a decision regarding the forward's future. The Spanish club have reportedly decided to extend his loan spell at Alaves, where he will remain until June 2025.
Atletico and Alaves have already agreed on the conditions for Giuliano to return to Mendizorroza, once again on loan. Atletico want the player to continue gaining experience and in Luis Garcia Plaza's team he has a guaranteed place. As a result, there has been no problem in closing the deal.
In the 202324 season, the son of Atletico's coach played 718 minutes for Alaves, scoring one goal and providing two assists. A broken fibula in pre-season kept him out of action between August 2023 and January 2024, so he has not played as much as he would have liked, although that is likely to change next term.
