Atletico train without Correa, Azpilicueta, Morata and Lemar

Atletico Madrid returned to training on Wednesday after Tuesday's rest day, with an afternoon session with the absence of Angel Correa, who is suffering from stomach problems, Alvaro Morata, Cesar Azpilicueta and Thomas Lemar, who are still recovering from their injuries.
The Argentine forward will be at Diego Simeone's disposal for next Saturday's match against Las Palmas at the Metropolitano stadium, while the other three players will miss the game.
Lemar will be out for the 32nd consecutive game due to a ruptured right Achilles tendon suffered on 16 September against Valencia, while Azpilicueta will miss the eighth game in a row due to a meniscus tear suffered in the derby against Real Madrid in the last 16 of the Copa del Rey on 18 January 2024.
Jose Maria Gimenez, who continued his reincorporation to the group on Wednesday after being out for the last four games due to a muscle injury, is now available, and Saul Niguez, who was suspended on Sunday at the Ramón Sanchez-Pizjuan stadium for a five yellow card ban, will return to the squad.
The Uruguayan centre-back trained normally in a session that began in the gym and was then carried out gently on the pitch.
