Atletico Madrid fans were eager to see their team wearing their crest again, and from next July they will be able to do so again. What's more, 'Footy Headlines' has taken it upon themselves to preview how the first kit for the 2024-25 season will look.
As usual around this time (and even before), the portal is leaking next year's designs and this time it's the 'Colchoneros' turn. It's nothing official, but the previews on this site are usually reliable and here we can see the red and white jersey on a mannequin.
Nike plays again with the design to try to do something different. On this occasion, the blue takes on more prominence, which embroiders the white and red lines and is also present in the 'V' collar, which is also worn by teams like England and Brazil.
Inside the stripes we also find lines alternating red and white through a fade at different heights of the shirt. Crowning it all, the crest that Atletico's members voted by a majority to return in July last year. It does so with a yellow border that has been present on several classic designs throughout the club's history.
On the back, the stripes are cut off at the middle of the back and at the beginning of the sleeves, leaving space in red for the player's name and number. At the top, the Spanish flag is printed.
