Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is getting closer and closer to returning to Spain. The Gabonese player has not fitted into the Chelsea project and all that's on his mind is playing at Barcelona next season.
'Sport' reported on Sunday that the player is already negotiating rescinding his contract which is keeping him at Stamford Bridge until 2024. He's aware that, if he wants to return to the Spanish side, it'll have to be on a free.
What's more, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will make a financial effort with Barcelona. The forward is currently on wage which would not be possible to pay him for Joan Laporta's club.
However, Barcelona have to guarantee the Blues number 9 that he'll be registered in La Liga. The 'Financial Fair Play' rules are still causing problems at the Sportify Camp Nou, meaning we'll still have to wait and see if there'll be any new movements.
A possible move for Auba to accompany Robert Lewandowski could slow down an arrival for Vitor Roque. The Brazilian star is who Barca have their future set on.
