Jude Bellingham, who is having a superb start to the season after scoring six goals in six games played, did not attend Madrid's training session on Friday because of digestive problems.
The Spanish side are increasingly concerned about recent injuries after announcing that Daniel Carvajal will miss the next two La Liga games against Atletico Madrid and Las Palmas.
However, both coach Carlo Ancelotti and the board expect the English midfielder to be fit for Sunday's Madrid derby. Doctors have reported that Bellingham will be able to train as normal on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Arda Guler and Vinicius Jr trained with their teammates but are unlikely to play against Diego Simeone's men. The Brazilian winger could play a few minutes if he trains properly on Saturday.
Carlo Ancelotti is expected to make three or four changes to the starting lineup to face their local rivals.
