Despite scoring on his debut for Milan, it's not all good news for Alvaro Morata. The striker, who already played with discomfort against Torino, suffered a quadriceps injury that will keep him out of action for three weeks. The player will return after the September international break and will not be able to play for Spain in the Nations League clash against Switzerland.

Spain international Alvaro Morata will be out of action for two to three weeks with a quadriceps injury he suffered on Saturday on his debut as Milan's new player against Torin, a match in which he scored and led his side to a late equaliser.
Morata, according to Italian media reports on Tuesday, was already out at the San Siro for the final half-hour with discomfort that turned into a more serious injury that will force him to miss the next two Serie A games against Parma and Lazio.
Barring a surprise, the injury will prevent him from taking part in the Nations League with the Spanish national team. The captain will miss the 5 September match against Serbia through suspension and may not be fit for the match against Switzerland on 8 September.
After earning his place in the starting line-up following his debut at the San Siro, it will be Luka Jovic and Noah Okafor who will battle it out for the forward spot vacated by the Spaniard.
