Ball is in love with Arda Guler, says Ancelotti

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti said his side "have the chance to mark an era" due to the "value" of the young players they have after a season in which they have already won the Spanish Super Cup and La Liga and will play in the Champions League final on 1st June. The Italian was very happy after his side's 5-0 win over Alaves.
"I think so. This squad has a lot of talent. Very young people with a lot of quality. They have the chance to mark an era in the future given the value of the young players we have," he told a press conference. Ancelotti assured that this is his best season in his long career as a coach.
"It has definitely been my best season as a coach. The team has done fantastic in La Liga. We won it on merit; no doubt about it. Everyone was waiting for our slump and it never came. We are very happy, on cloud nine. Let's keep going because the most important game is still to come", he said.
"Defensively we ask him to do a bit more work, compared to Vinicius. It's a role he likes because he doesn't like to play too much up front. He is quite comfortable there. Defensively he has helped us a lot and he has more defensive quality compared to Rodrygo and Vinicius, and it's good for us when he defends on the wing to help Mendy," he said when asked about Bellingham.
"Courtois has done very well. He is progressing very well, as is Militao. They are getting better every day. We are convinced that we will be at our best on 1st June. The squad is in good shape, with a good dynamic. It's important to rest well this week and prepare for the final in the next two weeks," he said.
Questioned about Arda Guler, who scored again, Ancelotti praised him: "We are very fond of the young players. The whole club, the staff and the coaching staff are very fond of him. He has a gift, he scores goals even when he doesn't deserve to. The ball is in love with Arda Guler," he told the press conference. Ancelotti also praised Vinícius Junior, who scored a brace on Tuesday.
"The first touch goals he has scored, it means he has improved a lot in a way that could be a limit for him. He is in a spectacular moment in his career. He sees another Champions League coming... he's doing very well; he can't do better than that," he said.
