After enjoying three days off, Barcelona's first team returned to training on Thursday to begin preparations for next Monday's La Liga game against Rayo Vallecano.
German coach Hansi Flick took advantage of the fact that the Catalan side have already qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League and have not had to play in the play-offs for the European competition to give his players three days off after last Sunday's 4-1 win over Sevilla.
In the first of four training sessions planned for this week, the German coach had all the first team players available, as well as midfielders Noah Darvich and Guillermo Fernandez from the reserve team.
In addition, Pau Cubarsi trained for the first time after the announcement of his renewal with the ‘Cules’ until 2029, thus joining the new deals signed by Gavi, Pedri and Araujo.
