Barca closes the door on PSG: Yamal to stay and renew until 2030
The newspaper 'Sport' reports how Barca have received the interest of PSG in signing Lamine Yamal. The approach of the French side came to light thanks to a leak to 'Le Parisien' and the response from the Barcelona offices is a resounding ‘no’ that Jorge Mendes has been aware of for some time.

The PSG bid folder is neither open nor will it be opened. After 'Le Parisien' published that the French capital are willing to put on the table an amount of around 200 million euros for the player, 'Sport' responds with the confirmation that the Barca board is not even considering the departure of a young player who, as soon as he turns 18, will renew his contract until 2030.
His contract currently runs until 2026, but it should be noted that he is a teenager. The Catalan newspaper mentioned in the previous paragraph guarantees that there is a private agreement with him to extend his stay at Barcelona throughout this decade. It is quite likely that he will be provided with a salary commensurate with his position as an important part of the first team.
His release clause is €1 billion, but the bosses at the Parc des Princes were flirting with the idea of proposing to the 'Blaugranas' a reduction in his starting price in exchange for it being, in any case, a colossal sum. The youngster's agent, Jorge Mendes, presented the matter to Joan Laporta and his top brass as a possible solution to the stumbling budget situation at Montjuic.
This is just one of the many routes that the Portuguese agent has put on the table for Barcelona, taking advantage of the fact that he manages Cancelo, Felix, Balde, Yamal and Fati. Among this list, the one who is closest to an exit is the full-back, who is liked in the Premier League and has not yet earned a place in the coaching staff. He also underwent surgery on a right hamstring injury at the end of January and has not been on the pitch since.
