Barca confirm Ter Stegen as fourth captain
Barcelona announced on social media that goalkeeper Marc Andre Ter Stegen is the new fourth captain of the Spanish team.
Barcelona will face Espanyol on Saturday. In addition, Robert Lewandowski will be able to play in the derby.
The Spanish coach analysed the meeting in the pre-match press conference and also confirmed that Ter Stegen is now the team's fourth captain following the departure of Gerard Pique.
"Ter Stegen is Barca's new fourth captain. It's already decided and it's the best decision," Xavi Hernandez said.
As a result, the German goalie joins Sergio Busquets, Sergi Roberto and Jordi Alba.
