Barca consider Maffeo as an option for their right-back

Barcelona still have work to do in the transfer market. One of the positions to be reinforced is right-back, and the main name is Joao Cancelo. However, given the difficulty of bringing in the Portuguese, the alternative could be Pablo Maffeo.
According to information from 'TV3', the Catalan defender, who could leave for 10 million euros although his clause is 30 million. The problem for Barca is that Sevilla are also in the race for him and are close to reaching an agreement with Mallorca.
In a recent interview with 'Mundo Deportivo', Laporta acknowledged that they want to sign a right-back. Cancelo, with a contract at City until 2027, is complicated by his cost (50 million minimum) and the only option would be a loan move.

He also made 25 appearances for SD Huesca and 73 for Mallorca. In total, he has 128 La Liga appearances, 4 goals and 12 assists.
