Barca deny contact with Messi in recent trip
Mateu Alemany made it clear that while Leo Messi was visiting Barcelona with his whole family, there was no contact to be had between the club and the Argentine star. The 'Cule's Sporting Director stressed that the forward travelled just to spend a bit of time in the city and the trip had nothing to do with a possible return to the Camp Nou.

Time is going on and the uncertainty around Leo Messi is still there. The Argentinian ends his contract in a couple of months and still hasn't spoken about his future.
PSG have made him an offer to stay, but he still hasn't answered and Barca are dreaming of getting him back at the Camp Nou. The club have tried to get him to join via several different tactics.
Some 'Cule' fans' hopes multiplied when they saw Messi landing in Barcelona recently with 14 suitcases. For some, it was the undoubtable sign that he's thinking about returning to the Spanish city.
Before the game against Rayo Vallecano, the 'Cule's Sporting Director Mateu Alemany was asked if during the man from Rosario's stay in Catalonia there was any contact with him. "He really likes coming here and he spent a few days in Barcelona as normal, but there was no contact with Messi", he cleared up.
Whether they spoke to Messi or not, it's true that Barca are working on getting him in. They first need to balance their books for the 'Financial Fair Play' rules, and that's what they're working on. One of their ideas to be able to get round it is to make La Masia a musem for the world champion, which would guarantee the club income thanks to the star.
However, his French side are not losing hope that he will stay. To try and convince him, French media such as 'L'Equipe' are reporting that the club are trying to sign Harry Kane. This would be even more ammunition for one of European football's most potent attacks.
